Each cremation keepsake is handmade with the utmost concern for the dignity and memory of your loved one.
Your loved one’s cremation ashes are encased into the molten glass, which is then formed into a bead. You have the option of using a transparent color so that the ashes are seen suspended inside, or to use a more opaque color so that only you will know what is encapsulated inside.
As each Life bead is hand sculpted, it should be expected that the shape, size and accent color of each item will have slightly different characteristics and no two will be identical.
The Order Process
We strive to make the ordering process as easy as possible.
Step One: Place your Cremation Jewelry order on the website, place it over the phone, or through Facebook Messenger.
Step Two: If you live in the Calgary area we can set up a time for you to drop off the ashes. If you are out of town we can make arrangements for you to mail a small portion. Only a small amount of ash is required for each bead, less than half a teaspoon is plenty. We believe we are creating more than jewelry and the spirit is cherished throughout the process. Please feel free to send us a photo and tell us something about your loved one and the kind of music they enjoyed.
Step Three: Your bead will be hand sculpted using an ancient process called lampworking. A torch is used to melt the glass rods, the ashes are encased inside the molten glass and finished with a clear glass layer creating your custom cremation jewelry.
Step Four: We will contact you when your order is ready to be picked up. If you are from out of town, you will receive your order via Priority Mail when it is completed (approximately 2 weeks). Expedited service for your cremation keepsakes is available and all shipping cost are extra.
